On March 13, 2024, a one-page letter and a CD titled “Lachar Beti” were sent to senior police officers in Lucknow and Hathras as well as to the National Commission for Women. The CD contained information about the obscene scandal of Rajneesh Kumar, a professor at Seth Fulchand Bagla College in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, which he had committed with his students.
In those videos, Rajneesh Kumar was seen behaving obscenely with many girls. There were many videos of girls being fucked, having sex, and touching them in a bad way, etc. in that CD. It was written in that letter that:
“With a deep sense of pain and helplessness I bring to your attention the atrocities being committed by Rajneesh. This man has been sexually exploiting me, and many of my former and current female classmates. On the pretext of providing academic support and promising jobs, he traps girls, forcing them into shameful acts while secretly recording videos. He then uses these clips to exploit them,”— lachar beti
After receiving the letter and CD, the police formed three teams and arrested Rajneesh Kumar on March 19, 2024. The police informed that Rajneesh Kumar (59) had made more than 65 videos of female students and leaked more than 59 videos online.
Rajneesh Kumar informed the police that in 2009, when he had physical relations with a student with her consent, the webcam of the computer was accidentally turned on and the incident were accidentally recorded on the computer. Since then, the idea of recording videos came to his mind and he started recording all the obscene behavior with the girls and started blackmailing them.
Not only this, he was also taking bribes from the students and their parents in exchange for good grades and jobs. Even after leaving college and after graduation, Rajneesh Kumar kept showing his recorded videos to the girls and blackmailing them.He got married in 1996, but his marriage could not last as he could not have children.
